My full name is Marianne Elizabeth Barbara Markham. I was born on January 17th, 1984. I've had a love for music for as long as I can remember.

It is October 30th, 2014. I am 30 years old as I type all this out. For my whole life so far, I've been living in Southern Maryland in the U.S.

When I was a young kid, a second grader I believe, I started teaching myself how to play this little, very light and easy to carry Casio keyboard. I developed a great ear for music since then. In the beginning, from learning to play the simple melodies of New Kids on the Block songs, video game tunes, and Jingle Bells, I eventually figured out how to play my own melodies, over and over. It was great fun for me to do. I also was in school choir classes throughout most of my school years, from 3rd to 12th grade. While I was in choir, I learned how to develop my soprano range. Whenever I had time to spare, I developed my alto range all on my own!

In the summer of 2001, a friend of my family, this cool dude who used to stay at our house sometimes, he had given me the Sonic Foundry Acid Pro 2.0 when he got the 3.0 version. After first learning how to use this program, I thought to myself, "This is a lot of fun!" Shortly after that, I created my first instrumental that I titled "Funky". A year later was when I started to share my music on the internet. Around that time, I already had completed my first eight tracks!

Now that I have a Virtual Synthesizer, and Audacity, I knew I could start making some loops and FX samples of my own, as well as great quality recording of my voice! I've been becoming more professional in a gradual pace. In over that whole decade I've been into this music making (for fun), I've learned a lot! I've really grown as an artist, and it's just been so exciting. I do hope to get tons more better at remixing, as well as producing my own original material.

Influences: Most of what I listen to inspires me, whether it's listening to some of the forty to fifty rock bands and electronica artists on CDs or listening to some of the AMAZING artists on the internet--all this partially inspires me. I listen to variety of things; alternative rock/modern rock, a bit of heavy metal, classic rock, electronica, jazz instrumentals, soundtrack material, J-Pop and J-Rock, and show tunes. My broad taste in music clearly influences me on doing various kinds of music. I never, ever happen to just stick with one genre.

Sometimes, an idea just comes to me to do a really fun and challenging project--so in that way I'm my own inspiration!

Games I play, whether it's video games or table top games, those inspire me too! Also, other forms of media sometimes does that.

The music I do is just for fun. I'm not seeking to make money through that just yet. I honestly don't know if I ever will, as I currently own this used bookstore business. I get busy with that, aside from all the creativity I do.

Aside from music, I write poems, lyrics, and story things. I also do a bit of cartoony sketches, and some computer graphics too. Those I also do for fun. :)

Last and least of all to cover; my artist name. If you're wondering, there's no real story behind that. It just was the first thing that came to mind at the time, when I was first sharing my music online... My music muse I imagine must be a fox that's a DJ, wearing headphones. I need to draw him one of these days, and then share the sketch--or computer art.
